Simone Helped Jordan in Her Career.
After Jordans setbacks in 2018, Simone suggested Jordan train with the Landis. They were careful and difficult, the coaches were determined that gymnasts lead balanced and healthy social lives (to help deal with the pressure of the sport.) After Jordan finished high school– she went to prom in a red sequined mermaid dress– she transferred to Texas.
” I discovered that gymnastics does not always have to be about strictness and being so hard on yourself and having so much doubt,” she said. “I really recognized this when I saw Simone contend.
Jordan Lost Her Olympic Bronze Medal.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Jordan initially put fifth behind Romanian gymnast Ana Bărbosu. However, after Coach Cecile Landi, submitted an inquiry about the judges difficulty score, they upgraded ball games. This effectively awarded Jordan with third location and Ana 5th place. Ana was seen walking away noticeably upset, and Jordan accepted the medal at the podium event. Days later, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruled that Jordans coach submitted the inquiry four seconds past the one-minute timespan. Group USA combated the ruling by sending video evidence to prove them wrong, the CAS firmly insisted that Ana would rather be the brand-new bronze medalist, removing Jordan from the benefit.
