Kel opened about working with Dan quickly after multiple previous Nickelodeon stars came forward about their experiences. Victorious alums Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice are among the current names who shared their reactions to the claims made in Investigation Discoverys Quiet on Set docuseries.
The doc– which aired in March– features a number of former cast and crew members who worked on a number of widely known Nickelodeon shows. Multiple ladies implicated Dan of perpetuating a poisonous workplace.
In action to the doc, Nickelodeon supplied a statement to Hollywood Life, keeping in mind, “Though we can not support or negate allegations of habits from productions years ago, Nickelodeon as a matter of policy examines all protests as part of our commitment to promoting a professional and safe office environment without harassment or other type of unsuitable conduct. Our greatest concerns are the wellness and benefits not simply of our staff members, casts and crew, but of all children, and we have embraced many safeguards over the years to assist ensure we are living up to our own high standards and the expectations of our audience.”
For his part, Dan confessed that he owes some individuals “a pretty strong apology.” In May, he filed a lawsuit against the creators of Quiet on Set for character assassination.
Reps for Dan did not instantly respond to Hollywood Lifes demand for remark.

Kel Mitchell is looking back on his time working with Dan Schneider. While talking to fellow Nickelodeon alum Keke Palmer on the Tuesday, June 11, episode of her “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer” podcast, the 45-year-old reworked a supposed event with Dan on the set of All That, in which the ex-TeenNick producer apparently chewed out Kel in a closet.
” I remember me and Dan had a big argument on set,” Kel declared. “He resembled, Lets go over here to this space right here, in this closet. He closed the door and he simply removed, you understand, simply shouting all this wild stuff.”
Kel also remembered how the “ambiance of the program began to alter a little bit” after the shows co-creator Brian Robbins “started to do Varsity Blues and all these different motion pictures, and the production team started to explode, so they left.”
