Bella Thomson– understood to her online neighborhood as Bella Brave– has died at the age of 10.
” Our brave girl left her legacy here in the world to dance on streets of gold on July 14th, 2024, at 4:19 p.m. ET,” her mother, Kyla Thomson, composed on Instagram on July 15.
” Bella passed in harmony in our arms,” she continued. “Please keep her name on your lips, her memories alive, and her bravery in your hearts. Please share with us every detail of how she touched your life or kept you brave.”
” Bella would want you to keep in mind: God is love, be brave, and you are never ever too old to bring a stuffy. & #x 1f9f8; #bellabrave,” the message concluded.

Her bowel transplant last August was expected to be the last medical trauma she would ever have to endure,” Kyla said.” Shes sedated, intubated in a clinically caused coma, and I am not losing my hope,” she said in a July 14 video before Bella passed.” Bella is like, Lets do it!

Bellas death came just days after the 10-year-old was placed in a clinically induced coma following problems from a viral infection in her lungs.
” We are, naturally, gutted for Bella. Her bowel transplant last August was supposed to be the last medical trauma she would ever need to endure,” Kyla said. “We are not out of the woods.”
In a clip published on social media on July 11, Kyla stated in an upgrade that Bella stayed “stable with no enhancement” as she was kept at Torontos SickKids medical facility.
Over the years, Bella went viral on social media after showcasing her bright-spirited character as her moms and dads, Kyla and Lyle, recorded her life-threatening health difficulties. Bella battled the rare bowel health problem Hirschsprungs disease, which, according to the Mayo Clinic, “is a condition that affects the big intestine (colon) and causes issues with passing stool,” in addition to severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID), among other health problems.
After Kyla shared that Bella had been placed in a clinically caused coma due to a “quick fibrosis-like deterioration” of the childs lungs, she continued to update fans who were closely following along and hoping for an effective recovery.
” Shes sedated, intubated in a clinically induced coma, and I am not losing my hope,” she stated in a July 14 video before Bella passed. “I dont know which way things are going to go. We still require your prayer and all the love. I will attempt to update as finest I can. In the meantime, she is still with us and she is still fighting.”
Bella– who was also sis to 5-year-old sibling Waylon– spent hundreds of days in the medical facility and went through about 30 surgical treatments. As her mama shared the kids story, the duo recorded the hearts of more than seven million followers on TikTok and Bella met stars like Halsey, Ryan Reynolds, Katharine McPhee and David Foster.
” Bella is like, Lets do it! Lets make a video today,” Kyla informed PEOPLE in 2023. “She believes people enjoy her personality and she wants them to understand her enthusiasms and what brings her delight. She simply desires to spread joy to other kids and anyone else.”
” She was courageous,” Kyla included. “Whatever she faced I never saw worry in her. She taught me bravery.”
